Students applying to 4 year colleges or universities need to submit SAT and/or ACT scores as part of the admissions process.á Appomattox County High School is proud to be a national testing site for the October and June ACT and for the November and May SAT.á Junior or senior students who areá eligible to receive free/reduced meals, are urged to fill out that application form and send it back to the school; studentsá may be eligible to receive fee waivers for the tests in addition to college application fee waivers.á Fee waivers are available from MRs. Hall or Mrs. Richardson.á To register online for the ACT: www.act.org áor SAT: www.collegeboard.com.á Please remember to put the high school code 470088 on all registration forms so that ACHS will receive scores and put them on student transcripts.á Some post-secondary institutions such as James Madison University will only accept scores directly from the testing agency.á Students can have scores sent directly from the testing agency to up to 4 schools for free by adding their codes during the registration process.
